Our walk through the drum section of NAMM brought us to the Sabian booth, where we got a demo of the four new AA and AAX cymbals. They were chosen as part of Cymbal Vote, which is Sabian’s aptly-named contest allowing the company’s fans to choose what new products will be cast out of alloy that year. There’s some new 16-20″ crashes from the AA and AAX line, and a new set of hi-hats called Freq Hats.
