Hollow World are a lovely bunch of chaps, really nice dudes that play really vicious music that belies their laid-back nature as people. If you met Michael Hodgson on the street, you might not immediately assume him to be a skilled metal drummer in a crushing band.
But in this clip, not only does he demonstrate how to play a bit of their song “Silence” (the same bit we brought you earlier this week on guitar), he also demonstrates a pretty advanced technique of using double strokes on your feet. Now, I’m not much of a drummer, but I’ve tried this before with seriously limited success, so my hat’s off to you if you can get this going.
