Summer NAMM 2015 – REVV AMPS’ New Dynamis Combo Amp

You may remember Revv Amps from our Kiesel/Carvin DC800 review or from when they first burst onto the scene at Winter NAMM. We’ve had reviews from Glenn Fricker and Fluff and one on the way from yours truly, and now they’re coming out with something new.

I caught up with the Revv chaps in Nashville at Summer NAMM this past week to talk to them about their new jam, the Dynamis combo. It’s based on the Generator 7-40 (which is the one I’ll be reviewing) but with less gain, an added DSP reverb (which is footswitch programmable) and is of course a combo with a 12″ speaker built in.

Here’s Dan Trudeau with a bit of what the Dynamis is all aboot:

As Editor-in-Chief of Gear Gods, I've been feeding your sick instrument fetishism and trying unsuccessfully to hide my own since 2013. I studied music on both coasts (Berklee and SSU) and now I'm just trying to put my degree to some use. That's a music degree, not an English one. I'm sure you noticed.
