NAMM 2014: The Amps at Peavey Electronics

Okay, I still think Vypyr Pro has a startling lack of dedicated vowels. Come on guys. I know you wanted a “y” in there, but maybe go more subtle and call it the “Vyper.” Or maybe the “Vipyr.” Those still look metal, right? But you went too far, and now god knows what destruction you’ve wrought.

Hypyrboly aside, Pyvy showed us thyr new Vypyr amplyfyr. It’s nice to see companies taking further advantage of the fact that digital amps can break away from the standard features of an analog amp. The Vypyr models up to four amps at a time, which allows you to blend those sounds together into one tone.
