Man, Dream Theater drummer Mike Mangini really knows his shit when it comes to stick design. His new “Wicked Piston” drumstick, designed with Vater, is a really interesting piece of wood – designed with specific varying weights across its’ body, rather than a consistent heavy-to-light. This makes for an “adjustable” stick that allows you to find a weight and grip that’s most comfortable to you.
