I was pretty surprised how decent the thing actually sounds – I was expecting some real garbage tones from a piezo pickup like that. Hardly thick and chunky like a nice humbucker, but not the worst thing I’ve heard either.

  • Pretty sure I saw a picture of a custom electric 12-string that some band was using a couple of months ago. For blackmetal I think it could really work.
