Any gamer worth their salt has spent many long hours of their life hearing the music of Nobuo Uematsu on repeat while navigating the puzzles and storyline of the Final Fantasy series. But have you ever heard those themes realized as the dulcet tones of the banjo? It’s surprisingly smooth and relaxing, don’t you think? I associate the banjo with many things that are not either of those adjectives (thanks Deliverance), but this makes for a whole new set of feelings when I hear that twanger go.
