NAMM 2016 – SCHECTER Wes Hauch Signature PT-7 FR

It would seem Wes Hauch and Schecter were made for each other, if for no other reason than for the hard German consonant sounds in both their names. Seriously, say Hauch Schecter 5 times and you’ll be spitting all over the person in front of you.

With those strong Hessian sounds comes a pretty spectacular collaboration, Wes’ new PT-7 FR signature 7 string tele, with Seymour Duncan pickups and a Floyd Rose tremolo. Wes is one of the best guitarists in metal today and I can’t think of someone more deserving of a signature shred machine.

Also, it’s like he built the thing for me. A white 7 string tele with a forearm contour? Sign me the fuck up.

As Editor-in-Chief of Gear Gods, I've been feeding your sick instrument fetishism and trying unsuccessfully to hide my own since 2013. I studied music on both coasts (Berklee and SSU) and now I'm just trying to put my degree to some use. That's a music degree, not an English one. I'm sure you noticed.
