PERIPHERY: See the Story Behind the RAGNAROK Pickups in This Mini-Documentary

A little over a month ago we wrote about the release of Periphery guitarist Misha Mansoor’s newest guitar pickup endeavour: the Ragnarok from Bare Knuckle Pickups. When the news of the pickup was initially announced, there was a lot of information available comparing the Ragnarok to the Juggernaut (Misha’s previous signature set of pickups). And to piggyback off that news shortly thereafter, Misha and ex-Periphery bassist Adam “Nolly” Getgood released a more in-depth mini-documentary about the initial creation of the Ragnarok.

Teaming up with Tim Mills from Bare Knuckle Pickups, you can see the thought process behind everyone on the team going into the Ragnarok journey. Comparing tones, playing styles, and various pickup types, it’s all here. Pretty sweet stuff, especially if you’re not familiar with how custom pickups get made.
