MESA/BOOGIE Announces Mark Five:35 Amp

Adding to the line of Mark series, Mesa/Boogie has announced the addition of the Mark Five:35 amp, a 2-channel amp that can run at either 35, 25, or 10 watts. It has 6 modes, channel independent solo and a built-in CabClone simulated cabinet output, as well as the classic Mark 5 band graphic EQ.

It’s available as either a 1×12 combo amp, or a 19″ head. It looks pretty cool, and it seems to be kind of a middle ground between the mini Mark Five:25 and the full on Mark Five, but is there really such a need for that? I’m certainly eager to try one to find out.

More info on it on the Mesa Boogie website.

I studied music on both coasts (Berklee and SSU) and now I'm just trying to put my degree to some use. That's a music degree, not an English one. I'm sure you noticed.

  • Not sure why they can’t just make a rack mount preamp based on the Mark V.
