It’s not often that Zakk Wylde doesn’t get top billing on a gig, but the Experience Hendrix tour has some serious names on it, including original Jimi Hendrix experience member Billy Cox, plus Buddy Guy, Bootsy Collins, Dweezil Zappa, Johnny Lang, and more.
But hey, this won’t come as a shock to you, but Zakk is into Jimi. I don’t think it’s a controversial statement that he’s making when he talks about how Jimi changed the guitar game and hugely influenced other players. Still, if there’s one truism in music journalism, it’s that Mr. Wylde is rarely not entertaining. So watch, and be entertained. It’s Friday after all.
