Well, shit. Strandberg and Boss have teamed up to make sure no boundary goes un-pushed, apparently. This past NAMM, the prototype V-Guitar revealed its lovely self. It’s got the self-tuning thing going on, as well as some wild sounds built right into the guitar, all accessible at the roll of a knob. See it to believe it:
