I’m surprised its taken me this long to write about Monty Python, especially given how wonderful the music in their movies is (especially The Meaning of Life). Python member Eric Idle, in addition to being an absurdly talented writer and comedian, ALSO plays guitar and wrote a ton of the music for those movies.
Idle and fellow Pythoner John Cleese went on Conan last night to perform a new song, which is definitely in the Python vein, entitled “Fuck Selfies.” Made me smile this morning, and I’m sure it will do wonders for your soul as well!
