It’s tough to live as a drummer, because living requires a home, an abode, a place to live. And unfortunately many of those spots are tiny, and unreceptive to the sounds of you going “bam crash whack kick budabudabuda CRACK!” all day.
But Appleman is not a man (nor a fruit) to be easily daunted. He took his iPad, because you can’t expect a dude named “Appleman” to be rocking a Nexus 7, and became a wizard at touch screen shredding. It’s tough to get pure double kick going with just your fingers, but he plays those quads like a boss.
Give the video a watch. It starts out a little slow but by the end I was pretty impressed.

Anybody that has ever played drums AND used Garageband would know that there’s absolutely NOTHING difficult about this at all. If you can tap triplets and herrta’s with your finger on a desk, you can do what this dude did. Gimme an hour. I’ll “cover” this. Lol
