A lot of people are rightfully excited about the return of Failure, the now-iconic 90’s spacey rock band that released a few albums that took a long time for people to realize were, like, really great. The band are back now and have a new full length, The Heart is a Monster, which dropped back in June.
Failure have been hitting the road on a bit of a victory lap, and recently stopped by the KEXP studios in Seattle, a local station known for bringing great bands in to play extended live-sets on the air. Fortunately for all of us who don’t live in the Seattle metropolitan area and refuse to listen to the radio on the Internet, the folks at KEXP are always kind enough to film, mix, and release these sets onto YouTube for our enjoyment.
