MODERN DAY BABYLON – Studio Update 1 – Drums

Eastern Europe seems to be a bit of a hub for djent these days. Between bands like the Czech Republic’s Modern Day Babylon, Serbia’s Destiny Potato and Hungary’s Omega Diatribe, they’re not only playing the music, they’re playing possibly the purest strain of it.

Modern Day Babylon has amassed a healthy YouTube following due to their incredibly tight music and production, and a little help from some Skervesen guitar porn. Along with playing the Euroblast festival sponsored by your friendly neighborhood Gear Gods, they are currently in the studio recording a new EP entitled The Ocean Atlas, and they have graced us with a studio update pertaining to recording the drums.
