“Mechanically Divine” by Darkane is the best type of chorus riff. At first listen it sounds catchy and straightforward, partially due to the soaring vocal that gels everything together. But then you actually watch Christofer Malmström play the damn thing and you realize how much is going on. So whip out your Ibanez RG 2520Z Prestige, or whatever non Malmström-sanctioned baritone you happen to have lying around, and learn this towering pinnacle of riffcraft from the man himself.
