Why I Like The SUPERIOR DRUMMER 3 MIDI Editor Better Than My DAW’s

In this installment of my series of Superior Drummer 3 tutorials, I talk about why I like the MIDI editor in SD3 so much, and how it’s better (for drums) than most MIDI editors that come built into most DAWs. I’m not necessarily trying to make a believer of you, but it’s definitely worth looking at this editor that has done away with the piano roll entirely and made it extremely simple to use and very drum-friendly. Instead of searching for the cymbal articulation you want by dragging a note through 8 octaves of piano roll, you can look through a short menu with names of each one, and put it there in a tenth of the time.
