The TC Electronic Polytune tuner is the only tuner I’ve seen recently that actually did something different from any other tuner that came before it. The ability to detect multiple notes simultaneously and display them all at once makes tuning extremely fast and simple. In fact, I can’t really think of another feature I’d want in a tuner (no, I don’t want one that tunes itself).
So now that they’ve put the Polytune in a clip-on tuner, they’ve in fact given me something I didn’t know I wanted. As Tore explains in the following clip-on clip, they wanted it to be a really classy and well-made clip-on tuner, unlike many of the crappy little cheap ones that come with every order from your favorite online retailer.
