Ever wonder how Slipknot gets their massive guitar tone time and time again? Well, they may have evaded a Rigged with us (for now!), but YouTuber Stay Metal Ray was able to go behind-the-scenes at Knotfest 2019 and ask guitarist Jim Root about his live rig!
Jim goes through his guitar signal chain and talks about why he has the gear he has, ranging from the specific amps to his wide array of guitars. It’s a surprisingly simple setup, but he and the other Slipknot dudes are prepared in more ways than one to put on their killer live show.
