As always, homeboy Fluff is always one step ahead of us. I feel like he’s got a direct pipeline to my thoughts. Just recently I was like “Man, it would be cool to do a wah pedal shootout” and BAM! He’s on it like vomit. Kind of like when you think “I’m gonna go get my car washed today” and then it rains. Magical.
In the below video, Fluff gives a nicely objective taste of each and every signature wah that Dunlop makes – namely the CFH Dimebag, Buddy Guy, Zakk Wylde, EVH, Slash, Joe Bonamassa, CAE, Jerry Cantrell, and Kirk Hammett wahs. By playing the same riff through each pedal set to neutral, we get a clear idea of the individual flavor of each pedal, once with a Strat and once with a Les Paul.
