Week’s End Playthrough: Every Time I Die and the Man Who Catches their Cymbals

Another week drops to the floor dead at your feet as you walk away victorious, another playthrough to sum up your five days of triumphs and tribulations. That last post of Keith Buckley recording at God City studio put me in an Every Time I Die kind of mood, so let’s kick off the weekend with an Every Time I Die kind of drum playthrough.

The footage is of the song “Thirst,” taken from the band’s performance at the VANS Warped Tour in Nashville a few weeks ago. The best part, when the camera guy catches Ryan Leger’s cymbals for him. That’s the kind of full service video production work that we can all get behind.

Chris Alfano has written about music and toured in bands since print magazines and mp3.com were popular. Once in high-school he hacked a friend's QBasic stick figure fighting game to add a chiptune metal soundtrack. Random attractive people still give him high-fives about that.
