Watch REALITY GREY’s Anto Addabbo Quantum Shred in “Multidimensional Hollow” Playthrough

Reality Grey fits right in with melodic death metal classics like Soilwork and Scar Symmetry, yet still manages to stand out as their own unique take on the genre. For a taste of that, and for some impressive-as-hell guitar playing, look no further than our premiere of guitarist Anto Addabbo’s playthrough of the band’s song “Multidimensional Hollow”.

“When I wrote this song I was listening to a lot of sci-fi soundtracks from movies and I think it influenced how the track came together at the end, it has different feels throughout its length,” said Addabbo. “Lyrically the song is about the struggle to succeed in life. Things don’t always go like you hope they will and not everyone knows how to cope with failure.”

“For Multidimensional Hollow I’ve used by trusty 1998 Jackson SL1, loaded with EMG pickups (81 – SA – SA) and my Mooer GE200,” said Addabbo. “The guitar speaks for itself, it’s a beast, neck-through body, 24 ebony fretboard, original Floyd Rose, can’t really go wrong with Jackson Guitars!

EMG pickups and Mooer GE200 are the perfect match for a brutal yet very clear sound and for metal music it’s something you cannot overlook. A huge shout out to Jackson Guitars, EMG Pickups and Mooer Audio for the constant support and for making such great and reliable products.”

Reality Grey will release their new album Beneath This Crown on May 7, which will be available via Bandcamp.
