MOON TOOTH Keep Their Edge Sharp In This Exclusive Bass Playthrough Premiere Of “Thumb Spike”

Long Island, NY-based heavy rock outfit MOON TOOTH are back with a brand new exclusive bass playthrough for their track “Thumb Spike” by bassist Vincent Romanelli! The four-piece have been going strong with their most recent album release this past March, entitled CRUX, so we are pleased to help spread the good word and premiere this playthrough, only right here, on Gear Gods!

About the video, here’s what Vin had to say:

“What’s up gear nerds? I am super stoked and humbled to be welcomed here at Gear Gods. As a fan of the channel and all things tone, I hope I can bring some insight into what works for me and help inspire you in your gear journey. First and foremost, thank you guys for checking out my play-through of “Thumb Spike”, a song off of our sophomore release entitled “Crux”. I chose this song for a few reasons, but mainly because it is just fun to play. It always gets the crowd moving, and the dynamic changes make it one hell of a sonic journey to catch a ride on. It also covers a lot of ground on the fretboard so hopefully, you guys will find it visually entertaining as well. As featured in this video, is my main bass and absolute workhorse of an instrument…my Spector Euro 5LX. I’ve had this bass for 15 years and it has risen and surpassed whatever I’ve needed it to do. I’ve always aimed for versatility and quality when researching and purchasing gear…and Spector hits the nail on the head in every category.”
