Well this is awesome. Baring Teeth are a killer and criminally overlooked dissonant, jazzy, sort of spacey sort of doomy always pummeling band out of Dallas Texas. I’ve been expounding upon the band’s virtues whenever I can. And you know who else are not appreciated for their excellence enough even though their guitarist is also in Revocation? Artificial Brain. So when the other guitar player in the Brain, Oleg Zalman, covered a Baring Teeth song for a playthrough video I almost pissed my britches in excitement.
“Here’s Dripping Sun from Baring Teeth’s new album Ghost Chorus Among Old Ruins. I’ve been listening to this album nonstop and this song blows me away each time. Second half of the song brings me to blissful tears.”
So what do we call this? Baring Brain or Artificial Teeth? I think that second one’s a winner.
