Tech death mainstays Decrepit Birth are back in the ring this year with their first album since 2010:Â Axis Mundi. Proving that they’re here to stay as one of the most recognizable names in the genre, even after a seven year silence, is this wicked little band playthrough of “Hieroglyphic.”
Plagued but not deterred by a revolving door of members over the years, it’s great to see the Santa Cruz, CA originators killing it once again. It’s definitely worth your while to pick up a copy of Axis Mundi if you self-identify as someone who “keeps it tech.”
