Progressive metal act Aenimus have been gearing up for the release of their newest concept album Dreamcatcher, which drops February 22nd, 2019 via Nuclear Blast Records. The Bay Area natives have worked tirelessly on this upcoming sophomore record, and we are pleased to debut this guitar playthrough for the second single “The Dark Triad”, only right here, on Gear Gods!
In the playthrough, guitarist Jordan Rush lays down some seriously impressive riffs that are sure to please pretty much any metalhead out there. Chunky, low-end chugs coupled with angular riffs that span the entire fretboard, there’s a lot going on here that demands multiple listens. On top of that, the track also features former Aenimus guitarist Brian James, who whips out a searing solo halfway through the video that fits perfectly with the overall dark aesthetic of the song.
