The TC Electronic Plethora X5 is a floor unit that allows players to create pedal boards based on any pedals available through TC TonePrint. Players simply load ’em up, tweak ’em to their heart’s content, and play away. The Plethora X5 has now received a handful of upgrades from the company, including the addition of the much-requested Alter Ego Vintage Echo now being available, and the ability for players to choose which way they want their signal chain displayed across the board.
Other updates include instantly seeing which pedals have something assigned to a Hot Knob in Play mode, and what’s changing when you tweak it; improved accuracy and tracking when hooking up a pedal; and lower latency when controlling Plethora settings using an external device.
