Reunion Blues is a company that releases $200 gig bags. Not hard shell, ATA flight cases. Soft gig bags. You might think that seems a little pricey, but as you can see in the video below, you can drop the damn things off of a house. Essentially you’re paying for the protection of a hard case (or maybe close to- I haven’t tested them myself) with the size and portability of a soft case.

So for those of you who need to take your guitar as a carry on the next time you book a flight, or just want a serious gig bag for tossing your guitar haphazardly into your car, this could be the way to go.
