Polyphia’s 2022 track “Playing God” was a big deal for a lot of reasons. It was the first time we got to see Tim Henson’s extremely cool Ibanez TOD10N model, it was Polyphia’s big comeback track, and of course that opening riff melted all our brains. So naturally bass shred overlord Charles Berthoud has finally tackled that impossible riff on a fretless bass, and done so masterfully.
I mean seriously, has anyone checked to see if this guy is an actual human?
