Orange Amplification has just announced their new all-vale OR30 amplifier. The amp offers a Footswitchable Volume Boost and Bright Switch, 30 watts of power that you’ll probably use for your stoner doom band, and an all valve FX loop. Which again – the Rat pedal is calling.
For real though, the Bright Switch is the first time Orange has ever offered anything like it. In neutral, the amp becomes the perfect pedal platform. To the left, the switch provides a fine treble boost to interact with the tone stack, and when switched to the right it gives a broader treble boost that gives laser-like cut through and really sharpens the tone.
