The CorOS 1.3.0 is now available for the Neural DSP Quad Cortex. The update offers a ton of new effects and amplifier models, but most importantly is that it finally offer a much-asked-for Looper.
The Quad Cortex Looper offers nearly 5 minutes of recording time, can be placed anywhere on The Grid allowing for creative routing configuration, and can be used in Preset/Scene/Stomp mode. The Looper is MIDI controllable and gives the following controls for all your looping needs:
- Duplicate (create an overdub which is X times longer than your original loop, allowing you to extend your original loop when you are recording an overdub)
- Re-Loop (trim the length of your loop when Duplicate is active)
- One Shot (play the loop once and then stop)
- Half Speed (play the loop at half speed)
- Punch In (replaces the audio)
- Overdub (record)
- Play/Stop
- Reverse (rewinds the loop)
- Undo (undo the last action)
