IK Multimedia has just announced their new iRig Stream Mic USB, which is the brand’s compact new cardioid condenser microphone.
The iRig Stream Mic USB combines a studio-quality cardioid microphone and 16-bit, 48 kHz audio interface for Mac and PC into a single ultra-portable solution for music and content creation. To get a little more technical, the iRig Stream Mic USB offers a gold-sputtered 1/2″ cardioid condenser capsule, an onboard high-pass filter to eliminate rumble and noise, and a 3.5 mm stereo input.
The iRig Stream Mic USB mixes mic and line signals into one stereo stream and has loopback capabilities to add background music or audio from your host device.
The iRig Stream Mic USB works with any app that records or streams audio or video and comes with iRig Recorder 3 LE (iPhone/iPad/Android), an easy-to-use, high-quality audio and video recording app; as well as MixBox CS (iPad) and MixBox SE (Mac/PC), a powerful suite of FX including dynamics, EQ, reverb and more.
