NAMM 2014: Stevie Salas’ Framus Signature Guitar was Nice Enough that We Didn’t Care How Metal he Was

Fine, Stevie Salas isn’t particularly metal. Actually, he’s not remotely metal. He’s played guitar for the likes of Rod Stewart, Bootsy Collins, Mick Jagger, Justin Timberlake, and more. None of that is particularly cvlt. Maybe Jvstin. Whatever. We wound up talking to him at the Framus booth after our Wolf Hoffman demo and damn if Stevie doesn’t have a pretty guitar. So what the hell, here it is on video. Feel free to skip to our 3pm post if your interests range purely between “brootal” and “fvcking brootal.”

Chris Alfano has written about music and toured in bands since print magazines and mp3.com were popular. Once in high-school he hacked a friend's QBasic stick figure fighting game to add a chiptune metal soundtrack. Random attractive people still give him high-fives about that.
