If there is one thing DW never do with hardware, it’s fuck around. Seriously, I’m consistently impressed by their innovation in the hardware field. At NAMM they showed us some new pieces of kit, and two in particular really stood out. First of all, DW have jumped into the direct-drive pedal market, and brought in a lot of the features of their 9000 series pedals like a free-floating rotor. But the new tom stand in particular is brilliant, solving the choking issue that prevents snare stands from being ideal tom holders.
