Ozzy Osbourne is a world-renowned singer and songwriter. He is the lead singer of Black Sabbath, a heavy metal band that rose to fame in the ’70s and has been popular worldwide ever since. Osbourne started his solo career in 1979 and has released twelve successful solo albums since then. In addition to his wildly successful music career, Ozzy has also tried acting and even took part in a reality TV show. The show aired from 2002 to 2005 and followed the crazy antics the Osbournes experienced on a day-to-day basis.

Sharon Osbourne’s Interview for Loose Women

In 2019, his wife, Sharon Osbourne, talked about Ozzy on a UK talk show called Loose Women. Among other things, she discussed her husband’s touring schedule, his injuries at the time, and how he used a buy hash online service and CBD oil to help him recover. “He can’t stand to be alone at home,” Sharon said, commenting on how difficult it was for him to stay patient while he recovered. She also noted that he wanted to go back on the road as soon as he could because he missed performing.

Namely, Ozzy had to postpone his 2019 tour after being hospitalized for pneumonia. His ailments started with regular flu symptoms. However, the illness quickly progressed, turning into bronchitis and later pneumonia. The singer was hospitalized shortly after developing pneumonia and stayed in the hospital for a while. To make this unfortunate situation even worse, soon after his hospital stay, he injured himself while going to the bathroom one night. He tripped on the carpet and fell, hitting the corner of a glass night table.

Sharon revealed that this fall caused quite a bit of trouble for the singer. Ozzy had a previous bike accident, from which he was still recovering. The bike accident left the singer with severe injuries. The doctors had to install several metal rods to hold the broken bones in his body. Those metal rods shifted after Ozzy fell, detaching from the bones they were holding in the process. In addition to exacerbating those injuries, Ozzy also injured his neck in the bike accident. The doctors had to perform two surgeries on his neck, from which he is now recovering. Accidents involving motorcycle drivers are often severe, making motorcyclists 29 times more likely to die in a crash.

Sharon explained how unhappy Ozzy was with his inability to get out of the house for such a long time. “He’s not good at being at home.”, she said. Furthermore, she talked about how much he misses touring, the road, and his band. With five decades of performing under his belt, touring has become second nature to Ozzy. Hence, the singer is focusing on getting better, as he wants to continue his tour as soon as possible.

Although he wants to heal as soon as possible, Sharon said that Ozzy is staying away from painkillers. Similar to many rockstars, Osbourne struggled with addiction for most of his life. That’s why the singer swapped the painkillers for a modern pain management approach — CBD oils.

Sharon said that, while Ozzy had to have painkillers after his surgeries, he has since traded them for CBD. He prefers taking CBD for pain management, as the risk of addiction is much lower than it is with the painkillers. If your want to learn more about it and look for marijuana doctors in New York check here.

On the other hand, many countries regard CBD products with less than 0.3% THC is legal.

UCSF research shows that legal marijuana decreases chronic pain. However, it also increases the risk of accidents and injuries. This, however, does not apply to CBD products with low levels of THC. Due to this potential threat, many officials are reluctant to show support for marijuana legalization. Even so, research shows that young people in the UK prefer CBD over traditional medication. Even when treating mental illness, many young people choose to use CBD in addition to their medication.

Still, you should be careful when using any controlled substance. Contact your doctor if you’re on medication, and never drive under the influence of THC. Alternatively, using CBD products shouldn’t impair your ability to drive. Still, be careful if you’ve never used it before, as CBD products can cause dizziness and nausea if you’re not used to them.
