If you caught John 5’s rig rundown in 2021, you heard his technician talking a little about his upcoming signature guitar. Now in an interview with Ultimate Guitar, John 5 has confirmed the guitar and revealed its called The Ghost.
“Yeah. We’re calling it The Ghost, and it is beautiful. It’s all white. It’s got red binding, red pickups and hardware. And it is gorgeous. It is an amazing sounding guitar and an amazing playing guitar. It’s just one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a while, and I love it. You know, it’s been in the works for a while and everything came to a screeching halt in 2019. It is just an unbelievable guitar. And yes, it is coming to fruition very soon.”
John 5 also confirmed that The Ghost will have his signature DiMarzio pickups, as well as one singular master Volume knob. No word on when the guitar might be out, but you can see it around the 3 minute mark in the below video.
