FRACTAL AUDIO SYSTEMS Announces the X-LOAD-LB-2 Load Box

As a bass player, my head is essentially a rock with a hole running through it: Super thick shell, and shit just goes right through. Heck, until recently, I didn’t know what a load box was (turns out it’s not that hard to understand) and that’s why the new X-LOAD-LB-2 from Fractal Audio Systems is really exciting. This guy is super simple to figure out, and actually does things a bit different than others you might have seen.

The X-LOAD interacts with whatever amp is used with it (using Fractal’s Dynamic Impedanceâ„¢ Technology) in a way that changes as power levels on the amp change. Which means, that a guitar would sound just as real through this guy, as it would any real speaker. It’s important to note that it’s not supposed to emulate speaker sounds, but you can probably do that in whatever guitar recording setup you have. Top that off with active and passive DI outputs, and nifty switch on the front that can account for a U.S., or U.K. speaker load, and baby, you’re in business!

The X-LOAD-LB-2 is available now on the Fractal website. Go get your load on boys.
