ELECTRO-HARMONIX Delivers The DIRT ROAD Special Amplifier

The good people at Electro-Harmonix recently unveiled their long-awaited reissue of the company’s 1970 amp: the Dirt Road Special! The amp features some modern enhancements to the original in terms of electronic components and overall design. If that weren’t enough, four of the reverbs from the company’s Holy Grail Max reverb pedal are included in the amp itself.

The newly minted Dirt Road Special includes the following:

  • Compact design with 40 Watts of power and a single 12-inch speaker
  • Raw, natural overdrive with interactive Volume and Bite knobs to control crunch and overdrive
  • Spring, Plate, Hall and Reverse reverbs, reverb footswitch included

EHX Founder, Mike Matthews, had this to say:

“Dig it! The Dirt Road Special has a great clean tone and can also deliver a raunchy crunch and overdrive with beautiful grit and grind. And, of course, we made sure it works really well with effects pedals?”

The Dirt Road Special is shipping now and is currently going for $395.00 USD. You can learn more about it here.
