The only band in the world that can shred 3 part harmonies with 2 dudes playing them just dropped a trailer for their new EP Revolution Pt. 1, and it’s everything you want it to be. The guy who you saw play Cemetery Gates on guitar and piano simultaneously is in this band and he does that kind of shit ALL THE TIME. They’re also the ones who invented the Shred Sled and rode on it with Jackass at Fun Fun Fun fest. But Immortal Guardian isn’t just a one-trick pony, these guys are like the second coming of Dragonforce, hair blowing in the wind and everything. Everybody in the band shreds, AND they can write a song. Check the trailer for proof:
Bonus at 1:35 – their singer channels Andi Deris like nobody’s business.
The EP, which was engineered by legendary metal producer Roy Z (who I’m told also played a solo on the CD) and mastered by mastering master Andy Horn will be released September 2nd. Check out www.immortalguardian.net for more info. It is also a prequel to the band’s first full-length album Revolution Pt. 2 (you probably guessed that one).
More shred from these righteous dudes:

Nice technique but completely generic music, which is probably just a vessel to show off their technique. Also, the production is quite bad, and for guys with such soloing skills, they seem to completely neglect any rhythm guitar.
