Watch ADAM “NOLLY” GETGOOD Record MATT HALPERN’S Drum Bangers in PERIPHERY’S P4 Studio Update

Periphery‘s P4 album has been announced for a few months now, and they’ve been dropping studio updates every once in a while to keep us fans updated with progress. This update follows drummer Matt Halpern and engineer/producer Adam “Nolly” Getgood as they prep and track drums for the new record. Matt and Nolly work and record together extensively outside of Periphery, so it’s no surprise to hear that they have their workflow down pat during recording. I do wish that the video was longer, and part of me hopes that they’ll release a “making of” long cut video. The collective professional knowledge base of Periphery’s individual members is possibly unparalleled to any other band that I can think of, and I would love to sit in and learn from their process, especially considering they have been collaborating remotely since Periphery’s inception. I basically just want to know how they keep it all together and keep pressing out banger after banger.

Anyway, get a look inside the bang factory with the video above.
