I’ve thought more about Metallica in the last two days than I have in the last few years. Yesterday the band was on The Howard Stern Show promoting their upcoming record, for which they also just dropped a new song, “Moth Into Flame” – check our riff-by-riff analysis of that here.
The Met boys also performed a couple jams live on-air at Stern, including “Master of Puppets” and “Sad But True.” Man, these sound super good – kudos to Scott the Engineer for making them sound better than I’ve ever heard them on one of these things.
