Fender Expands its Product Lineup, Releases New Models of… Wine?

Fender makes wine now. The historic guitar manufacturer has been slowly branching out into other ripening markets, and aging this strategy for some time. You may have noticed that they’ve already planted seeds in the car stereo field, and the fruits of that labor have been harvested by the likes of Volkswagen. Grapes.

But guitar amps and car amps? That makes sense. It sounds almost identical. Guitars and wine…ars? Nope. Doesn’t work. But at least in this market when someone talks about how much better a vintage 50 year old Fender is, they can get the company to agree.

Hopefully they’ll have demo units at NAMM.
