One of our absolute favorite websites, Reverb.com, recently partnered with dozens of incredible musicians all across the globe in an effort called ONE MIC in order to raise money for music education. While there are many incredible items available via this event, one in particular that caught our eye: a signed sE Electronics V7 microphone from Evanescence vocalist Amy Lee! At the time of this article, the mic is selling for $1200, and all proceeds will be donated to support youth music education, which is exactly the type of energy 2020 could use right about now.

From sE Electronics:

“As part of The Official One Mic Reverb Shop, Amy Lee of Evanescence has autographed this sE Electronics v7 microphone. While not used by Amy Lee herself, this model has been her mic of choice for the last several Evanescence tours. Donated by sE Electronics, this signed mic is perfect as a gift or for those looking for a powerful source of inspiration in the studio.”

The sale features signed microphones from some of the biggest names in music, including Paul McCartney, Kesha, John Legend, Brandon Flowers, and of course, Amy Lee. All proceeds from this incredible event are going to ten youth music education programs that have been directly impacted by COVID-19. Microphones include a limited edition 50th Anniversary Paul McCartney Shure SM58, a Telefunken M80 signed by John Legend, an sE Electronics V7 signed by Billie Eilish, and a Shure SM7B signed by The Weeknd, just to name a few.

From Amy Lee of Evanescence:

“Learning and loving music was such a big part of my life growing up. It was my place to be me. Musical education builds confidence, inspires imagination, and provides an outlet for self-expression, which is incredibly important for young hearts and minds.”

From Leon Bridges:

“Youth music education is important because it gives kids a strong sense of identity. I can say that for me personally, too.”
