Australia Week-ly Riff – i built the sky “Perlucidus”

As we discussed earlier today, Australia is a gnarly fucking place. But unlike some gnarly places in the world, like Russia, the magical land of Oz tends to turn out some incredibly mild-mannered people. It seems that the constant looming threat of a painful death from the myriad of nightmare creatures outside merely creates a blanket of calm that allows for very friendly attitudes and can-do spirit.

I’m being dramatic, of course, I hear that Australia is a lovely place, and as for mild-mannered, one-man instrumental djent phenom i built the sky mastermind Ro is no exception. As devastating as his tracks are, he is cool and soft-spoken as he explains how to play his song “Perlucidus” off of his EP Intortus from last year.
