HOLLOW BONES – Exclusive “DRYTOOTH” Drum Playthrough

White Plains, New York just got a whole lot heavier – but their bones are getting lighter. Hollow Bones is a new band out of the Empire State that is bringing their crushing brand of metalcore straight to you right now via this drum playthrough that you can only see here and now.

Hollow Bones is set to drop their debut album Lionheart on May 27. The album can be pre-ordered now.

Drummer Connor Warren had this to say about the song:

“DRYTOOTH is a very dynamic song to play for me. It’s an aggressive song that also incorporates technical and solid playing. I’ve always been a fan of great pocket drummers, so I tried to include a bit of that style as well in order to bring out the feel and emotion that we try to deliver. We hope that people notice this emotion when we play, and it’s always great when we see a reaction from people in the crowd!”

Here’s what I’m using in this video:

As Editor-in-Chief of Gear Gods, I've been feeding your sick instrument fetishism and trying unsuccessfully to hide my own since 2013. I studied music on both coasts (Berklee and SSU) and now I'm just trying to put my degree to some use. That's a music degree, not an English one. I'm sure you noticed.
