JASON RICHARDSON: “This Is So Much Cooler Than Working At GameStop”

If you play metal guitar, then you must have heard of Jason Richardson. You’ve certainly heard his playing in All Shall Perish, Born of Osiris, Chelsea Grin, and a few guest solos. Jason is one of the fastest and cleanest guitar players around; just seeing him play makes you want to practice. His love of John Pertrucci and his signature guitars makes him a natural fit on the Ernie Ball Music Man artist roster.

Ernie Ball’s “Inspired By” documentary series takes a look into Jason’s inspirations for playing music and his approach to playing guitar. He likens his playing to solving a Rubik’s cube; both take incredible patience and dedication. He also saved up to buy a JP signature guitar at 14 which is way more patience than I had as a 14-year-old. No wonder he has chops.

Jason will be touring with Luke Holland in April to support his solo album I.
