The original version of this song is easily the most metal video game theme I’ve ever heard. My personal favorite of all time is the F-Zero X soundtrack, which is straight power metal from start to finish, and this one is quite reminiscent of that.
Lucas Mann of Rings of Saturn does it some serious justice in this video, which features him playing his Etherial Guitars while wearing a clock around his neck Flava Flav style (lest you think he sped up the video).
