Fingerstyle Beast MIKE DAWES Played Every Part of METALLICA’s “One”…on One Guitar

Mike Dawes is one gifted motherfucker. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, so watch him play through Metallica’s “One” arranged for solo guitar. Go ahead, wipe the tears from your eyes and pick your jaw up off the floor. Take all the time you need.

Speaking for myself, I’d never be able to play this in my wildest dreams. But for you crazy talented bastards out there, you can get a complete transcription of this arrangement with an MP3 from Mr. Dawes’s website. Doing the Lord’s work, he is.

For more from the master himself, keep up with him here.

  • It’s not on one guitar. Well, I mean, it is but there is more than one part so on one guitar but not all at the same time. Did you not notice the split screen segment?
I’m not saying it isn’t an incredibly impressive piece of work but the headline is just pain wrong.
