We somehow missed this last month, and figured you might’ve too. Total Guitar recently got an intimate look at the Devin’s current live rig with the Devin Townsend Project during a stop on the band’s last European jaunt with Periphery and Shining.
There are a few interesting things to note about this video. First, Devin’s Framus guitars are all outfitted with Evertune bridges, the incredible invention that maintains tuning via a spring-loaded mechanical system within the guitar. Second, although Devin has only been using a combination of Fractal and Kemper amp modelers for a few years, he models his guitar tone after the same basic sound that he’s been going for for decades.
And third, he carries around a piece of rubber doo doo.
